Am I at risk for COVID-19 from a package or products?
Per the CDC, “in general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures.”
Additionally, the WHO states on their website, “the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.”
Therefore, you can rest assured packages you receive from SexPurple will be safe from COVID-19!

Should I clean my product(s) purchased from SexPurple prior to use?
YES! We recommend to ALWAYS wash your product before and after each use. Besides germs, dust and debris always have a chance of clinging to the surface of most products, therefore they do need to be cleaned.
We recommend cleaning the product after each use as there is a high change of organic fluids accumulating on the product from use. This fluid can harbor bacteria which love dark places where products are normally stored. Washing products after use prevents this bacterium from accumulating on the product.
Although not recommended, if you are feeling particularly lazy, you can also cover the product with a condom, and dispose of the condom after use. This would only work if the item’s shape resembles a phallus.
Pro tip: Also wash your hands before and after your session with the product!
What kind of soap should I use to clean my products?
Mild hand or dish soap is acceptable – only if it’s unscented. Scented soaps tend to disrupt your body’s pH, making you more susceptible to infection. If you’re unsure whether the soap you have at home is acceptable, we urge you to shop our toy cleaners specifically made for use on or near your intimate area.
